gravitropism
Roots spread for miles. You cannot see coconut roots.  Gravitropism is that pushes down and phototropism is when something goes to the sunlight.

UV light

Some flowers have a thing that is called UV light it makes flowers look different. it looks diff

Stem Works

Stems carry water when the roots suck water in the plant. When the leaves suck in sunlight and air it provides food to the whole plant it also helps the stem. When the stem provides the food to the rest of the plant the plant throws white stuff out of the stem.

Leaves

Leaves
If the leaf did not do it's job, then the plant would die because the plant would not have food because the leaf makes food out of air, water, and sunlight.

Gravitropism & Phototropism

                       Gravitropism & Phototropism
                    By: Camden 2nd Grade Demmert

Gravitropism means down, it pulls down the roots into the ground. phototropism means up, it goes up to the sun or light.

Leaves
Leaves have cells. Leaves have veins. Leaves give us oxygen. Leaves can be many shapes and sizes. Leaves have this flat part called a blade that sucks in air and sunlight. Leaves put exhaust in the air.

Stems

We second graders are learning about stems on plants. Stems suck up Water for the plant. Nodes are a black dot that are on top of the stem. The Node makes more leaves. Stems give the flower water to be big to get the sun. Stems can make new plants.
