Stems carry water when the roots suck water in the plant. When the leaves suck in sunlight and air it provides food to the whole plant it also helps the stem. When the stem provides the food to the rest of the plant the plant throws white stuff out of the stem.
You explained stems very well, Muzamil. The only part I didn't understand was about the white "stuff". What is the white stuff?
